Revit's API has no call to duplicate a sheet with its views — “duplicate with views” lives only in a right-click menu, one sheet at a time. Quire builds the whole set as a plan: which sheets, what goes where on each, numbered and named in bulk — checked against everything Revit would refuse, then written in a single transaction.
Twenty sheets means twenty title blocks, twenty numbers typed by hand, and every view duplicated one at a time — with Revit naming each copy “Level 01 Copy 1”.
The window is the pipeline: three steps, one permanent promise — nothing is written to your model until the last one.
Blank sheets with a chosen title block. One per level in a single gesture — the level rides the row, ready for the numbering recipe. Copies of a sheet you already have: its layout, its parameters and, if you want them, its views. Placeholders turned real, keeping their numbers. A drawing list pasted from a BEP. Or a draft from an AI, through Synapse. Everything lands in a list — and nothing is written to your model until the last step.
Build numbers and names from fields — text, a counter with its start, step and padding, a sheet parameter, the row's level — joined by your separator, with a live “It would produce” preview before anything is applied. An empty field contributes nothing, so no “A--201”. Any sheet parameter becomes a column, and the columns you choose are exactly what the Excel round-trip carries: renumbering in Excel comes back as an edit, never as new sheets.

Swap any cell for an existing view, or define one on the spot: level, view template, scope box, scale. Fill a column… turns forty cells into one decision. The preview below draws the sheet from the same calculation the writer runs — so it cannot show one thing and create another.

A duplicate sheet number does not fail one row — it kills a batch in the middle. So Quire checks everything before a single element is written: numbers and view names against the model and against each other, each finding pinned to its row with a one-click Fix. Canon's naming rules land in the same list — as warnings, because the house standard advises here and never blocks.

The run writes sheets, views and viewports in a single transaction — if Revit refuses anything mid-way, the whole batch rolls back and the model is exactly as it was, because half a sheet set is worse than none. Then the receipt: every sheet with what actually landed on it, a Canon check on the finished set — which it can only judge now that it exists — and the set sitting ready for Stencil and Plot.
