Reset View scans the active view for element, category and view-filter graphic overrides plus hidden-in-view elements, shows what a reset would touch, then clears the kinds you choose in a single, undoable transaction — keeping every annotation.
It resets in place, so the view keeps its sheet placement, references and dependent views. Per-edge linework and overrides on elements inside linked RVTs cannot be reset via the API.
